TERMS OF SERVICE
LAST UPDATED: October 20, 2026
This online store at theviifoundationstore.org (the "Store") is operated by The VII Foundation Inc, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in New York ("The VII Foundation," "we," "us," or "our"). By visiting the Store or purchasing from it, you agree to these Terms of Service and to the policies they reference: our Refund and Cancellation Policy, Shipping Policy, and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Store.
1. About the Store
The Store sells fine art prints, books, and registrations for workshops and educational programs. Proceeds support The VII Foundation's tuition-free education programs. Purchases from the Store are not charitable donations and are not tax-deductible. The Store is hosted by Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least the age of majority in your place of residence to purchase from the Store. By placing an order you confirm that you are.
3. Products and Pricing
We make every effort to describe and display products accurately, but we cannot guarantee that your screen's display of any image or color is exact. Prices are in US dollars and may change without notice. We reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse or cancel any order, and discontinue any product at any time. If an order is affected by a pricing or description error, we may cancel it and will notify you using the contact details you provided.
4. Payment
Payment is due at checkout unless a product page states otherwise. For workshops offered with a deposit, the deposit is due at checkout and the balance is due by the date stated on the workshop page, as set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Payments are processed by Shopify and its payment partners; we do not store your card details.
5. Refunds, Cancellations, and Shipping
Refunds, cancellations, minimum-enrollment conditions for workshops, and damaged-item procedures are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Delivery timing, costs, and international duties are governed by our Shipping Policy. Both form part of these Terms.
6. Workshops
Workshop registrations are personal to the registered participant and may not be transferred without our written consent. Participants are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, visas, and the travel and health insurance required by our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Workshops take place in real-world environments that may involve physical activity and travel; participants take part at their own risk and agree to follow the reasonable instructions of instructors and staff. We may remove a participant whose conduct is unsafe, unlawful, or disruptive, without refund.
7. Intellectual Property
All photographs, text, and other content on the Store are protected by copyright and are owned by The VII Foundation or the individual photographers and authors who have licensed them to us. Purchasing a print or book gives you ownership of the physical item only. It does not transfer copyright or grant any right to reproduce, publish, display publicly for commercial purposes, or create derivative works from the image or text. Nothing on the Store may be copied or used without written permission from the rights holder.
8. Your Information
How we collect and use your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Store for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its operation or security, to submit false information, or to collect information about other users. We may restrict or terminate access to the Store for any breach of these Terms.
10. Third-Party Links and Tools
The Store may link to third-party websites or use third-party tools. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices, and your use of them is at your own risk.
11. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Store and its products are provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the Store will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The VII Foundation, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Store or any product or workshop purchased through it. Our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, in which case our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.
